People First, Technology Second

lotusprakitas was founded on a simple belief: the organisations that gain the most from AI adoption are those that understand it on their own terms. We bring that clarity to businesses across Bangkok.

How lotusprakitas Came to Be

lotusprakitas started in Bangkok in 2019, at a time when AI tools were generating considerable excitement but relatively little practical guidance for businesses that weren't built around technology. Our founders — a team of organisational development consultants and workplace learning specialists — noticed a consistent pattern: organisations were interested but uncertain, and the resources available to them were either deeply technical or deeply vague.

The name lotusprakitas reflects our dual foundation. The lotus, drawn from Thai culture, speaks to growth that emerges from difficult conditions — a patient, considered process. Prakit, from the Thai for "ordinary" or "natural," reflects our commitment to making AI feel approachable rather than foreign. Together they describe what we do: bring something complex into comfortable, working reality.

We work primarily with Bangkok-based organisations across industries including financial services, healthcare administration, retail, manufacturing, and education. Our engagements range from a single introductory workshop for a single team to multi-month governance projects spanning entire companies. What stays constant is our approach: we start by listening, not advising.

Mission & Values

Considered Growth

We believe AI adoption works best when it's treated as an ongoing process, not a one-time deployment. We support organisations through each stage with patience and without pressure.

Transparency in Practice

We explain what each tool does, what it doesn't do, and what data it touches. We don't recommend solutions we haven't evaluated, and we don't oversell outcomes.

Human Centredness

The goal of every engagement is to make the people in an organisation more capable and more confident — not to replace their judgment with algorithms.

Quality Standards & Professional Protocols

The standards that shape every engagement — from first contact through long-term advisory relationships.

Data Confidentiality

All engagement materials, organisation-specific information, and internal documents shared with our team are treated as strictly confidential. We do not share client information with third parties.

Independent Tool Evaluation

We assess AI tools based on fit, functionality, and data handling — not vendor relationships. Recommendations are made in the client's interest, not influenced by commercial partnerships.

Structured Delivery Process

Each engagement follows a clearly defined scope, timeline, and deliverable set. Progress is reviewed at regular intervals, and adjustments are made with the client's knowledge and agreement.

Ethical AI Principles

We apply ethical considerations to every recommendation — including transparency in AI usage, fairness in automated decisions, and the preservation of human oversight in critical processes.

Inclusive Training Design

Training materials and workshop exercises are designed to be accessible regardless of technical background. We adapt language, pace, and examples to the actual composition of each participant group.

Post-Engagement Follow-Through

Support doesn't end at delivery. Our engagements include post-launch periods during which we remain available to address questions, review progress, and refine implementations as needed.

AI Integration in the Bangkok Business Landscape

Bangkok occupies a distinctive position in Southeast Asia's technology landscape. As one of the region's most active commercial centres, it hosts organisations ranging from large Thai conglomerates and regional headquarters of multinational firms to growing SMEs and family-owned businesses navigating competitive pressure from digital-native competitors. Across all of these, we see a consistent pattern: leadership is increasingly aware of AI's potential, but practical adoption remains patchy and often driven by individual enthusiasm rather than considered strategy.

lotusprakitas focuses specifically on the human and organisational dimensions of AI adoption — not the infrastructure or coding side, but the training, change management, governance, and day-to-day working knowledge that determines whether a tool is actually used. Our approach is grounded in workplace learning methodology, which means we design for behaviour change, not just information transfer.

Our advisors have worked across Thai business culture for many years and understand the particular dynamics at play — from communication styles and hierarchy in team settings to the practical constraints of SME budgets and the compliance environment affecting larger organisations. This context shapes everything we do, from how we run workshops to how we structure governance frameworks.
